I love beautiful meditation spaces. Gorgeous cushions, flowing fabrics, and just the right crystals calling in the perfect energy. But sometimes, you just have to make do with what you have.
I love beautiful meditation spaces. Gorgeous cushions, flowing fabrics, and just the right crystals calling in the perfect energy. But sometimes, you just have to make do with what you have.
My sacred space? It's a plastic chair. Yep, you read that right. It's nestled under a tree amidst the fynbos in my Table View garden. Nothing fancy, just the beauty of nature and a simple place to sit. And you know what? It's perfect.
Because here's the thing: sacredness isn't about the stuff. It's about intention. It's about creating a space where you can connect with your higher self, wherever that may be. It could be a mountaintop, a bustling shopping mall, or a plastic chair in your backyard. What matters is that you choose to make it sacred.
So, how do you create a sacred space? It's simple:
Choose your spot. It doesn't matter where it is, as long as it feels right to you.
Set your intention. Declare that this space is sacred to you and that you will use it to connect with your higher self.
Be present. Let go of distractions and focus on the present moment.
Connect with your breath. Take some deep breaths and allow yourself to relax.
Listen to your intuition. What is your higher self trying to tell you?
That's it. No fancy rituals or expensive tools required. Just you, your intention, and a willingness to connect with your higher self.
